The public sector across Ireland has a responsibility to promote green procurement in order to support Ireland’s environmental and wider sustainable development objectives, especially as Ireland aims to achieve net-zero by 2050. Ensuring public procurement supports wider communities is also now of integral importance on both sides of the border.

The Green Procurement & Social Value Zone at Procurex Ireland will deliver several speaking sessions advising buyers and suppliers on how to embed sustainability and social value into their contracts, adhere to environmental standards, and align their procurement strategies with the Green Public Procurement and the Government’s commitment to net-zero.
