Supporting Irish Healthcare Zone

The Department of Health announced in October 2023 that a €22.5 billion health budget for 2024 will facilitate the continued delivery and expansion of quality, affordable healthcare services across the Republic.

The allocation includes a Health Resilience Fund to support service delivery in response to high inflation and increased patient demand among an expanding and ageing population, €500 million to tackle waiting lists, including opening, and staffing six new surgical hubs, increased funding for digital health and increased funding for mental health.

The supporting Irish Healthcare zone at Procurex Ireland will host a series of knowledge sessions to advise suppliers who are looking to develop new business opportunities in the healthcare, and enable buyers to learn more about how they can deliver Ireland’s healthcare objectives, reduce costs and increase capacity.
